Research Focus:  As a psychologist and behavioral scientist on the Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities Service and a member of the Psychotherapy Laboratory at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dr. Lui has focused her research on investigating and reducing disparities in cancer care. Some studies that Dr. Lui is currently conducting explore adapting a meaning-centered counseling approach for Chinese patients with advanced cancer and investigating the use of interpreters in counseling for limited-English patients with cancer.
